We serve a jealous God. Exodus 34:14 - “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:” We are to worship and serve only Him. Matthew 4:10b - “… for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
Only Your name's on my soul; only Your cross left to hold.
Only Your love's in my veins; only for Your fame.
I'm not giving in, not selling out,
Not giving up, not bowing down.Almighty God is the first and the last. He is the One and only God and worthy of all our praise.
Isaiah 44:6 - “Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Revelation 1:8 - “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
When the trials and troubles come, don’t turn FROM our Saviour … turn TO Him! Spend some time with our Lord today, our one and ONLY King!
