God's Word is our authority on life; it is a powerful, living Book to which nothing else compares. The Bible is our compass, instruction manual … our "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth." The King James Bible should be your most prized possession!
Just as what we watch on television or the computer is important to discern, so is the "version" of the Bible we read.
Proverbs 30:5 - “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
God wrote the Bible; He inspired men to write His words. Every jot and tittle is there for a reason.
2Timothy 3:16 - “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
Modern bible "versions" are taking away the deity of Christ and 'watering down' God’s Words and the gospel message. satan has been changing God's words from the very beginning when he deceived Eve and he's still changing them today. Beware! God warned of this very thing --
2Timothy 4:3-4 - "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; ... 4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." (New Version fables)
The NKJV removes much more than 'thees' and 'thous' It’s the “New King James Perversion!” … changing hundreds and hundreds of words and meanings.

Don’t be one of those Christ-followers who shrugs off the importance of reading God’s true words! If you’re reading a ‘bible’ other than the King James Bible, consider the differences shown in the charts below. The world ignorantly says, "It's harder to read or understand; it's archaic." Would you really want the Book of God Almighty to be the same as any other worldly book or 'Best Seller'?
