The Bible says we are new creatures when we accept Christ as Saviour. At that moment, we’re filled with the Holy Spirit, redeemed through His blood. Our sins are forgiven so that we can spend eternity in heaven with the Most High God! If that doesn’t make you joyful and want to praise His Name, I don’t know what will! LISTEN … if you accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you will go to heaven and live with Him forever! If you don't, hell will be your forever home. So I ask you, have you humbled yourself and asked Jesus to save you?
From song lyrics: “Hard-pressed on every side, I've felt each tear that I've cried. Lord, please help me to see that I'm never defeated. I will not lose heart; I'll fall in line and do my part. This trouble won't outlast Your beautiful promise. I’ve come to the end of me. It's a new thing You're doing; stir up the spirit of faith in me! I'm open, I'm willing. Jesus, do Your good work in me. This is just the beginning and I'm ready for all it will bring. Struck down but never destroyed, Your perfect strength fills every void. And when I can't see it, Oh God, help me believe it. If I need wisdom, if I need strength, God, give me perspective, give me Your rest and I will take hold of all that You said. If I need healing, if I need hope, You are the breakthrough, You are the more. Oh, I have come to the end of me.”
2Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Titus 3:3-6 – “For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;” Psalms 71:23 - “My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.” 1Peter 5:5b - “... be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” James 4:10 - “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” 2Timothy 2:19-21 – “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."
Like the song says, with Christ we are not defeated … but must come to the end of “me”.
