God meets our needs each and every day, mostly without us ever even recognizing it. Did you wake up breathing, with a beating heart and a roof over your head, water to drink, food to eat, the sun shining, healthy body, eyes to see, ears to hear, mouth and voice to sing praises with?
The list of God's provision is endless. What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday?
Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 10:28-31 - “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”Sparrows are mentioned in the Bible among the offerings made by the very poor. Two sparrows were sold for a farthing in the passage above, and five for two farthings in Luke 12:6. Yet God loves all of His creation and takes care of even the fowls of the air ...
