Does it seem like the days and weeks just drag on and everything’s out of balance? that life isn’t supposed to be this hard? What happened to the carefree, innocent days when you couldn’t wait to see the next sunrise? When the going gets tough and your strength isn't enough, Jesus will fight for you! Friend, your circumstances may have changed, but the sun hasn’t stopped shining and the birds haven’t stopped singing. When is the last time you prayed to our God Who never changes? Have you thanked Him for the sunshine, the birds’ songs, green grass, flowers, and the very air you breathe? Better yet, have you accepted Him as your Lord and Saviour so you can spend eternity with Him?
Song lyrics: “I need the kind of love that can outlast the night, that’s willing to fight. When the going gets tough and my strength's not enough, I see You, Lord, showing up like never before. This battle for my heart, You took on from the start. You are the peace when my mind's at war and You’ll never stop fighting for me when I can't fight for myself. You love me like nobody else; You stand up for me in the darkest night. When my faith is weak, You're still by my side. You will never stop fighting for me! In perfect timing, You make all things right. You paint a silver lining in this heart of mine. Your love is winning me over, Your heart is pulling me closer. Every word is a promise You keep. Oh Lord, You will never stop fighting for me!”
Exodus 14:14 - "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Joshua 1:5 - “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 12:1-2 – “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Ephesians 5:20 - “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”
Life is made up of mountaintop and valley experiences. Without those times in the valleys, we wouldn’t appreciate the mountaintop. Believer, when you’re in the valley, remember to keep focused on the Lord. Lean on Him for comfort and direction and ask Him for help! He hasn’t moved, you're the one that moved. He’s waiting for you to call on Him to fight for you!
