I want to hear Heaven when my daughter laughs and feel the Spirit every time we dance. But I've been busy, been making plans. I have a way of living in my head, like I'm outside looking in. But now I see that I've lost too much. It’s been awhile since I really saw my wife; now I'm waking up to every sunrise, to every night sky. I've been asleep, but now I’m chasing the beauty of God’s goodness. It's cool how so much of this life comes into focus when viewed through spiritual eyes. There's glory I couldn't see, but my Lord Jesus, in His mercy, has opened my eyes.
Psalms 86:5 - “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.” Exodus 34:6 - “And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,” Galatians 5:22 - “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” Psalms 104:31 - “The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.” Revelation 21:23 - “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”
