God’s grace is truly amazing! When He is ready to use someone for His greater purpose, He “breaks” them in order to get them to the place where they’re ready to be used in a Mighty way. God will “break” us to position but when He does, it is with grace … it doesn’t hurt … and we become “gracefully broken”. If we will give Him all that we have, He will multiply all that we are.
Ephesians 2:8 - “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” John 1:14-17 – “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” Psalms 84:11 - “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Acts 20:32 - “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
Our prayer today is, “Set us on fire, Lord! Our arms are wide open, just as Yours were on Calvary’s Cross. We stand in awe of You, strong to the end, ready to fulfill Your purpose. We know You won’t leave nor forsake us and we are holding nothing back, surrendering to Your will. Thank You for setting us free! We are pouring out our lives … gracefully broken … for Your glory!” Today’s Song – Watch/Listen: “Gracefully Broken” – Artists: Matt Redman, Tasha Cobbs Leonard / Writer: Natasha Cobbs
