“Grace” is the unmerited favor of God, easily remembered as: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Our Heavenly Father pours out His favor upon us … sinners, who deserve the worst. Jesus Christ took the punishment that we deserve and died in our place. There is no greater Love!
Every good thing in this life is by God’s grace. His gift of salvation is by grace through faith. Colossians 2:12-15 tells us when Christ shed His blood and died on the cross, was buried and raised from the dead, He took away our sin debt and paid it in full. Grace won the battle against sin.
Titus 2:11 - “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” 2Corinthians 12:9 - “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Lamentations 3:22-23 – “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Smile, my friend! You are Loved by the God of grace! It is because of His grace that we rejoice in the hope of His glory!
