The Bible tells us in God's Word that the sweet Holy Spirit is promised to us if we ask Jesus into our heart. That same Holy Spirit descended like a dove and the heavens were opened when John was baptizing Jesus! Matthew 3:16 - “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:”
Sweet Holy Spirit, thank You for being a comfort so many times and for strengthening me, for I could not make it across life's troubled sea without You.
1Thessalonians 4:8b - “… but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.” Romans 8:9 - “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
Sweet Holy Spirit, when we’re low in the valley and weak, we know we can make it for we trust in Thee.
Sweet Holy Spirit, fall on us today!
