Are you feeling guilty, ashamed of what you’ve done and what you’ve become? Are your hands dirty and you dare not lift them up to Jesus, the Holy One? Friend, Jesus will plead your cause and right your wrongs! He’ll break your chains … He has overcome! He gave His life in order to give you yours! He will set you free! You ask, “How can it be?”
1Corinthians 15:34a - “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God …” Matthew 9:12-13 – “But when Jesus heard [that], he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Romans 12:21 - “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” 1Timothy 4:10 - “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.” John 16:33 - “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Never doubt that our Saviour still loves you. Though we fall, Jesus can make us new. Accept His gift of salvation … His grace is reaching out for you! His mercies are new every morning. He keeps His promises and His Love never fails! Oh yes, it can be true and it is!
