The American church seems to be drifting away from God. There are multi-billion-dollar mega-church-buildings with programs geared toward gaining numbers instead of winning souls; valet parking, coffee shops, dimly-lit sanctuaries with the spotlight on the pastor, preaching from versions of the Bible instead of God’s Holy Word. (Is God even in God's House?) They are quick to show you the offering plate … are they quick to lead folks to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ? Some are, some aren't. You must decide for yourself where you attend locally, but remember we serve Christ, not man.
Do you ‘go to church’? or do you go to ‘the church service’? You see, church is NOT a building.
CHURCH is the people--God’s people, born-again believers, a/k/a spiritually born, saved children of God.
The King James Bible (KJB) is erroneously referred to as the ‘King James Version’ or ‘KJV’. It is not a version as the world (satan) says it is.
Are you a Christian? What makes one a Christian? A person is NOT a Christian simply because they believe in God. Satan believes in God! The ONLY way you can become a Christian is through spiritual birth (explained here). John 14:6 - “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Many people think they are a Christian because they believe in God, they are a good person, they go to church services regularly. NO! Good people who attend church service but are not saved before they die go to hell every day!
Good morning! Has it been a long night?
Maybe been a long year, maybe been a hard life?
Maybe you're not alright, if you got a little red in your eyes.
You've come to the right place.
People like you, people like me, this is where we all find grace.
Bet you'll wanna sing hallelujah, bet you'll say an amen!
Can't help but celebrate being born again!
Somebody who loves you, is waiting at the door;
It's home sweet home here in thе house of the Lord.
So come to God’s House. It’s not a museum for saints, but a hospital for sinners. We are all sinners.
God’s House is where grace lives. Everyone is welcome. Don’t be shy. You will feel at home. It’s the house of prayer.
Come learn. Come serve. Come pray. Amen!
