Ignorance. Incomprehension. Naïveté. These words can describe many people's understanding of Almighty God and how GREAT He is. It is difficult, after all, for physical humans to comprehend a supernatural being Who is ever-present, all-knowing and all-powerful. Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
But still, at times it seems we try to fit Him in a little box down on our level instead of recognizing Him as Creator of all … The Great I AM … The King of the World!
Exodus 3:14 - “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”
Our Lord’s voice is powerful and majestic. His whisper can tame the seas. Psalms 29:4 - “The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.”
The Lord is The One Who holds us all. Isaiah 41:13 - “For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
Lord, help us to always remember that You are, always have been and always will be The King of the World.
