Life ain’t easy in a nowhere town. The sun comes up and goes back down; days pass by without a sound. There’s always a story in a nowhere town; hoping glory days come back around. A long time ago, this was sacred ground. They say Kings and priests used to walk these streets, giants fell and prophet’s words rang true. Could the days of old be the days to come? Well it don’t feel like a King would live here now, in what they say is a "nowhere town."
Friend, God never promised life would be easy but I know a King Who will live in your heart and fight your battles if you ask Him to. I know a King Whose promises all come true.
Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” John 16:33 - “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Ephesians 3:17 - “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,” Hebrews 6:10-12 – “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Psalms 24:10 - “Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.”
There’s more to this life than what there appears. If all you see is what you see, then you’ll never see all that there is to be seen. Jesus' victory in His death, burial, and resurrection is the source of victory for you! Oh yes, there’s a story … our King is here! Open your eyes … your “nowhere town” is a great big mission field … and glory days are just ahead!
