Today’s video and song is similarly titled to the popular Christmas hymn, “O Come, All Ye Faithful” but with a twist in the message … reminding us that humans aren’t perfect; that Christ-followers aren’t always faithful followers and in fact, we are all born sinners in need of a Saviour.
The well-known Christmas hymn is the biblical story of the birth of Christ, where the shepherds, after hearing the angels singing, go to Bethlehem to adore the new-born Saviour. As you celebrate the season, remember this truth. 1Thessalonians 5:24 - “Faithful is he that calleth you …”
Believers, who comprise the Body of Christ, worship and adore our Saviour and thank Him for the loving sacrifice He made on the Cross for our salvation.
1John 4:14 - “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.”
O come, all you unfaithful. Come, weak and unstable; Come, know you are not alone. O come, barren and waiting ones; weary of praying, come see what your God has done! Christ is born, Christ is born, Christ is born for you! O come, bitter and broken; come with fears unspoken; Come, taste of His perfect Love! O come, guilty and hiding ones, there is no need to run! See what your God has done! He's the Lamb Who was given, slain for our pardon. His promise is peace for those who believe. So come, though you have nothing; come, He is the offering! Come, see what your God has done! Christ is born for you!
Come, though you have nothing! Christ is the offering.
Galatians 3:13 - “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”
Jesus is the Lamb Who brings peace to a broken and fallen world. Christ was born so that we might truly live!
John 1:14 - “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
