Sometimes it seems that we Christ-followers often take for granted all the blessings we receive. How many times have we heard “Jesus loves you” and really thought about how much He Loves us? and how much we love him? It’s not just some story somebody wrote 2,000+ years ago. It is real. It is real Love.
Are you ‘crucified with Christ’?
Galatians 2:20 - “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Who do you run to when troubles come?
Name someone in your life who has never failed you; someone who loves you even on your worst day; who has never lied or ‘done you wrong’; or how about someone who has given their life for you? Guessing it’s a pretty short list.
Only You, Jesus.
In Christ alone my hope is found.
He is my light, my strength, my song.
What heights of love, what depths of peace!
In Christ alone Who took on flesh,
fullness of God in helpless babe.
This gift of love and righteousness,
scorned by the ones He came to save!
On that cross as Jesus died,
the wrath of God was satisfied.
For every sin on Him was laid …
and in the death of Christ, I live.
Up from the grave He rose again!
He stands in victory and sin's curse
has lost its grip on me!
I am His and He is mine;
I’m bought with the precious blood of Christ!
From life's first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny!
No power of hell, no scheme of man
can ever pluck me from His hand. Acts 4:12 - “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
I am His and He is mine … eternal Love. John 10:29 - “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.”
In Christ alone, I’ll forever stand!
