Today marks the 81st year since the surprise Japanese military attack on the Pearl Harbor naval base in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday morning, December 7, 1941. The attack led to the United States' formal entry into World War II the next day.
Let us never forget the brave military men and women who fought. A total of 2,403 Americans were killed and 1,178 were wounded. Then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt called the unprovoked attack “a date which will live in infamy,” in a famous address to the nation delivered the next day.
Thanks to all the past and current military members and their families for your service and sacrifice.
The world is in a constant battle … a spiritual war.
satan and his army of evildoers are doing everything they can to destroy God’s army. Whom shall I fear? Read the end of The Book … God wins!
Jesus declared victory over death … those in Christ have eternal life in heaven, where there is peace forever! 1Corinthians 15:55 - “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
Ephesians 6:10-17 – “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”
