You may ask me if I'm happy, if I have sweet peace within, if I'm worried about tomorrow when I reach my journey's end. Well, friend let me tell you, and I'm speaking from the heart … I am more than satisfied … satisfied with my Jesus! When hard times come, He goes with me through the valley, for you see, He is my friend. Yes, dear one, I’m satisfied! Proverbs 19:23 - “The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.” Joel 2:26 - “And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.” Psalms 36:6-9 – “Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. 7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. 8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. 9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.”
If my friends and family all forsake me and they turn me from their door; if they sow no seeds of kindness and make the thorns in my path grow ... well, it won't matter over yonder when I reach that other side! I'm gonna sit down with my Jesus … satisfied! I’m satisfied!
