Thank God for the daylight! I spent a long time in the dark; it felt good saying, “Goodbye” and waking up to a brand new heart. If you're sleeping like I used to be, in a grave that holds you tight, there's a Saviour calling, promising a brand new life! He's saying, “Wake up, sleeper! Open your eyes. Oh sinner, arise and leave your past at the door and come to the Light.”
Ephesians 5:14 - “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” 1John 1:9 - “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Galatians 2:20 - “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Romans 5:18 - “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”
Christ is alive! He brings freedom; death doesn't live here anymore! So if you meet somebody sleeping like the way you used to be, tell them about the Saviour and a little thing called "free" (His gift of eternal life is free, but you have to receive it through spiritual birth.) Rise up and come out of that grave! Rise up in His amazing grace! Come awake … and go tell everyone, “Wake up, Sleeper!”
