Sometimes we get so used to doing things on our own, it’s hard to let go and let God. But His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Our Creator knows us better than we know ourselves and has a plan for our life. All we’ve got to do is ask … and listen!
Today’s song is about God’s will for our lives … and letting Him lead …
'Lord Jesus, I’m so confused. I know I heard You loud and clear so, I followed through and somehow ended up here. I don’t wanna think; I may never understand that my broken heart is a part of Your plan. And when I try to pray, all I’ve got is hurt and these four words: Thy will be done.'
Romans 12:2 - “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 8:26-27 – “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” 1Thessalonians 5:18 - “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Micah 6:8 - “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Matthew 6:10 - “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” 'I know You’re good, But this don’t feel good right now! I know You think of things I could never think about. It’s hard to count it all joy! I get distracted by the noise and just trying to make sense of all Your promises. Sometimes I gotta stop and remember that You’re God and I am not! Like a child on my knees, all that comes to me is Thy will be done. Father, I know You see me, I know You hear me and Your plans are for me. So Thy will be done!'
