What a Day That Will Be

There is coming a day when no heart aches shall come, no more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye. All is peace forever more on that happy golden shore, What a day, glorious day that will be when my Jesus I shall see! I’ll look upon His face, The One Who saved me by His grace; when He takes me by the hand and leads me through the Promised Land, what a day, glorious day that will be! There’ll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there. And forever I will be with The One Who died for me, what a day, glorious day that will be!

1Thessalonians 4:16-17 – “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1Corinthians 15:52 - “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” Mark 13:32 - “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”

Close your eyes and imagine what it will be like on that glorious day when the spiritually saved will be raptured to heaven :) While no one on earth knows the time this will take place, we are to be prepared. Those who are spiritually born into God’s family (both those who have already died and those who are living at the time) will see Jesus face-to-face! Have you been born spiritually? I can only imagine … what a day that will be! Luke 17:34-37
