I grew up in church, raised on the gospel, trained in the Word. I had a faith so fearless! I thought it was all I needed but life hit me hard, more than I planned, and it knocked me down like an avalanche! On the edge of hopeless, I called my Jesus from the darkness. “Come quickly, only You can save me! Won’t You lead me where Your Light is? God, be with me! I don't know where I'm going; been living in the dark. You are my Light!"
Galatians 1:3-5 – “Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Psalms 31:3 - “For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.” John 8:12 - “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Matthew 5:14 - “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
Lord Jesus, there's no hurt, no scar or bruise, no wound too deep for You. You're everything You say You are and You're bigger than a broken heart. So hear me now, I'm calling. When I'm lost in the night, losing the fight; when tears fill my eyes and hope's hard to find, Lord, lead me where Your Light is!
