Everyone longs to know they are loved, accepted, and forgiven. God’s Word promises that we won’t be rejected when we come to Him with a broken and contrite heart. His forgiveness and loving grace and mercy brings peace, joy, freedom, victory and so much more to our lives!
1John 1:9 - “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Matthew 18:11 - “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.”

Luke 23:34a - “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do ...” Not only that, He can heal our wounds and bring unspeakable joy to our hearts.
Romans 10:9-10 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” 1Peter 1:8 - “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”
Guilt is a heavy burden to carry. God’s grace is sufficient and He’ll meet us in our brokenness and bring peace to our heart if we seek and ask Him for forgiveness and healing. Mark 1:41 - “And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.” NOTE in the chart below that NIV changes this verse to call our Lord indignant!
